Adinkra Zebra Crossing, Transformation 2.0
Here is to never giving up on your dreams, cheers!
We are excited to share our new work and collaboration with the field museum!
Our new collection is called ' Transformation 2.0. Meaning, there's going to be a future drop, wink wink.
This collection is inspired by my new work, the Transformation Collection, a body of wearable art created for the Field Museum Chicago, titled Connecting Threads- Africa Fashion in Chicago. The collection was inspired by the African artifacts found in the Field Museum. This body of work and process has been two years in the making.

One of the looks from the six-piece collection was made possible by a painting I created called Adinkra Zebra Crossing. This painting is intended to educate viewers and art enthusiasts about Africa and African symbolism. This painting combines the beauty of the zebra, an animal I'm very much obsessed with, with African, Ghanaian Adinkra symbols. This painting can be seen in the field museum, a 10-foot-tall photo prop installation that welcomes all to see, take pictures, and make some dope memories.
In this collection, Adinkra Zebra Crossing and other unique African prints fabrics have been used in creating beautiful products as souvenirs from the exhibition. These include wearable art, prints, mugs, socks, hats, dresses, and more, all of which have been priced under $99. We're happy to share this work with you all. Thank you for your support, thank you for supporting the arts!
